The Automated Unsubscribe Process

  1. Detection: Gmail trigger monitors inbox for incoming emails containing "unsubscribe" in the 'To' field

  2. Identification: Workflow extracts the contact's email address from the message

  3. Mautic Integration: System retrieves the contact ID from your Mautic database

  4. Segment Management: Contact is automatically removed from newsletter segment and added to unsubscribed segment

  5. Confirmation: Personalized confirmation email is sent acknowledging the unsubscribe request
